So how do you divide assets equally for a couple going through divorce? Technically it should be 50/50 so everyone will be happy. But that 50/50 deal is only applicable if you’re dealing with money figures or something that could be possibly divided in half right? Multiple cars could be arranged who’s gonna get what or even the contents of the house.
Well not every divorcing got multiple homes. Most of the time the only home they owned during the during rosy moments of the marriage is their primary residence. And if they want to divide the sales proceed from the home that would be equal distribution too.
But what if you can’t sell it, now what? Can you divide the house in half so that it would be 50/50 deal? Why not, a couple from PHNOM PENH, Cambodia did it exactly literally…saw the house in half!

Sometimes it’s not even worth the headache trying to get what you are entitled from all the assets that you incurred during the marriage. Just getting out of the relationship and having the peace of mind is priceless. Money isn’t everything…you can always earn it, but happiness is precious. I’m now happy where I’m at with my little chihuahua. It’s time to move on…life doesn’t stop on one fiasco.
