Who is CyberDJRon, the Tropang Gapo’s Newscast Host?

Ron Afable aka “CyberDJRon” took up A.B. Communication Research on a state scholarship at the University of the Philippines, in Diliman, Quezon City but was accidentally lured into the broadcasting business. He started out as a radio beat reporter and newswriter in an AM station. He also wrote for a local daily tabloid in his province in southern Philippines.

He got his first stint in FM programming as a discjockey in Angeles City, Pampanga, and moved on to work for several other networks all over the country during his first ten years in broadcast.

He became a station general manager and programmer and was elected as a chapter chairman of the country’s premier broadcasters’ association (Kapisanan ng mga Brodcaster ng Pilipinas.)

Having retired himself from the broadcast profession, he is now pursuing his first love: writing.

Ron is currently getting himself busy writing for internet clients (and broadcasting too!)
