MISSION STATEMENT:
To provide a better learning environment and nurture the well-being of the students of Olongapo City National High school by supporting development, renovation and repairs of minor infrastructures, beautification of the campus, and providing sports equipment to name a few.
OUR HISTORY:
OCNHS 77 GLOBAL FAMILY was officially founded in Las Vegas, Nevada last December 7, 2007 by the Olongapo City National High school batch 1977 alumni of like mind and goal. It is our wish for other OCNHS ALUMNI to join us by direct monetary contribution or form their own group and join us in our aspirations and goals.
PLEDGE:
To use 99% of the donated money for the benefit of OCNHS and its’ students. Operational expenses if there is any will always be to the minimum. All donations to the last penny will be accurately and honestly accounted for.
CURRENT OCNHS STUDENT BODY REPRESENTATIVE:
The Students Body and its representative should take an active role as we expect them to be the future benefactors of the school. They should;
1. Offer suggestions on future projects as they are the direct recipient of the goodwill.
2. Monitor the progress of the ongoing project.
3. Responsible in the proper accounting, storing, managing, and issuing of all donated items. Perform spot check inventory quarterly or when deem necessary. Report all discrepancy to the PTA officers or to the local OCNHS Batch 77 coordinators for action.
4. Report to the Foundation, the PTA officers, OCNHS Batch 77 local coordinators, all results of inventory, investigation of losses or theft, progress of ongoing project and other relevant issues. Replacement of items due to lost or theft after thorough investigation only and after solid preventive measures taken to prevent the same thing to happen again.
5. Make the Record Keeping at the highest possible accuracy and integrity and to avoid at all cost the suspicion of misappropriation. Trust between the Foundation and the Student body is a number 1 priority.
PROPOSAL ON HOW TO RAISE FUNDS:
1. $10.00 per month was suggested for all members to raise the funds necessary for future projects.
2. All other creative ideas besides no. 1
PROJECT UNDER CONSIDERATION AT THIS TIME:
1. To assist the Olongapo City National High school Parent Teachers Association and other alumni’s in funding the renovation of the restroom to meet and promote health standard as directed by the local city health department (Completed March 13, 2009).
2. To replaced damage and worn out various sport gears and equipment by procuring it directly from the local market.
3. Upgrading school sign at the main entrance to a modern look in order to promote pride, ownership, and professionalism.
PROCESS OF PICKING FUTURE PROJECTS:
A member has one vote on the choice of the project under consideration. The officers of the Foundation will choose the projects to vote on, keeping in mind that the urgency and the overall benefit of the project to the students. Projects will be picked after so many deliberations, and only then it will be presented for election to its members. The members are encouraged to give their suggestions and ideas directly to officers. All opinions and suggestions will be considered thoroughly and respectfully.
A project is said to be in favor if 60% of members agreed to vote for it. A member has to be registered and has agreed to the $10.00 monthly contribution. 2 people may combine and agree for 1 equivalent vote if half of the monthly contribution is pledged by each one. Consequently, a member may have 2 votes if he or she pledged to pay twice the agreed contribution and so on.

BANK OF AMERICA is where we established our bank account and the moment has a total deposit of $599.00.

Esther Francia-Adversalo and Alma Cabiles-Richardson are the ones chosen to monitor the account activity on line. To ensure integrity of cash flow.
NOT A TAX- EXEMPT STATUS:
OCNHS 77 GLOBAL FAMILY is not a tax exempt status at this time. You cannot deduct your donation when you file your tax in April.
